Water Warriors, the product of a collaboration between JASON Learning and STEMconnector as part of the Day of Design initiative, launched in October to encourage students across the nation to take on real-world challenges in the classroom. Klein ISD had nearly 2,000 students participate in the event.

HYDRODAM, the first-place team, was able to visit Google headquarters in early March to present their winning prototype to a room full of Googlers.

While in Austin, the team had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get an all-access tour of the inner workings of tech giants headquarters. On the tour, the team was able to meet and ask questions to dozens of Googlers.
