Klein ISD Offers Free and Reduced-Price Breakfasts and Lunches

The Klein ISD will again offer free and reduced-price lunches and breakfasts to students eligible for the program during the 2018-2019 school year. Parents may contact their school for an instructional flyer to enroll their child/children in the program or can complete the application online at http://kleinfood.kleinisd.net.

The 2018-2019 free and reduced priced meal application must be completed online at http://kleinfood.kleinisd.net. Klein ISD students who were on the program during June 2018, will continue on the program when school starts but will be deleted from the program if a new application for the 2018-2019 school year is not submitted within 30 operating days from the first day of school.

The application must include the following:

  • total household income or SNAP/TANF case number
  • names of all current Klein ISD students, with grade level and campus assignments
  • names of all household members
  • signature and the last four digits of the social security number (or mark “none” if not available) of one adult household member

All information provided on applications is handled confidentially and is used solely to determine eligibility and to verify data. The Klein ISD offers free and reduced-price lunches and breakfasts for those students who live in households in which family finances temporarily or permanently make them eligible. Parents who have questions or who may need help in filling out the application may contact the Klein ISD Nutrition and Food Services Office for assistance at 832-249-4610.
