Klein ISD Financial Services Recognized for Financial Reporting Excellence
For the 22nd year in a row, The Klein ISD Financial Services team has earned the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. The award, given by the Government Finance Officers Association, recognizes the work exemplified in the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ending on August 31, 2017. Klein ISD Chief Financial Officer, Dan Schaefer, credits Executive Director Audrey Ambridge and the entire Klein ISD financial services team for the recognition. “They do an outstanding job each year to ensure the accuracy of the district’s financial data, compliance with laws and regulations, working with external auditors and ultimately reporting the results,” says Schaefer, “We’re pleased to accept this award, which represents the highest recognition for school districts’ financial operation work offered by the GFOA.”
