This past weekend Klein ISD hosted our second annual Gifted and Talented Summit. Hundreds of students and parents attended this remarkable day featuring fun and informative sessions.
While students were expressing their artistic side, sharpening their math skills, and exploring the STEAM express, Parents had the opportunity to learn how they can help their kids prepare for college, how to meet the social and emotional needs of a GT student, and what gifted services are available in the classroom.
Providing enriching educational opportunities like this weekend’s outstanding GT summit is just one of the many ways we partner with our Klein ISD students and families as we strive to Reimagine Learning and ensure our students exit with a purpose.
As we begin the month of October, we celebrate our lots of our P2P Investors: Our tremendous custodians, who ensure we’re all in a healthy environment, and our outstanding principals and campus administrators, who work hard to ensure student safety and a positive learning and leadership culture for EVERY student, always while exhibiting a sense of possibility, optimism, and hope.
And finally, you’re invited to join us at the Klein Multipurpose Center this Thursday at 7 P-M, when we will be holding our Board Candidates’ Forum. The event is presented by the Spring-Klein edition of the Community Impact newspaper and will also be streamed on our social media outlets. Tune in Thursday, and thanks to Community Impact for hosting!
