Lots of great events coming up | 90 Seconds

Today, we want to share with you an opportunity to spend your Saturday morning getting crafty!

On Saturday, December 8th the Klein ISD Advanced Academics team is hosting a holiday arts spectacular at the Klein ISD Multipurpose Center from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The event reimagines learning through a variety of activities and challenges like dance workshops, origami crafts, and a stained glass activity spotlighting cultures from around the world. And if all that crafting makes you hungry, guess what? There will be hot chocolate and cookies for everyone to enjoy! The event is open to the public. So come on out and explore your artistic side!

And the Advanced Academics team has a few dates for your calendar as 2019 gets underway.

January 26th is the 3rd Annual Klein ISD Pathway Summit at the KMPC. The event provides an opportunity for students and parents to explore accelerated student pathways, graduation endorsements, and what students need to know about transitioning from elementary to intermediate, and intermediate to high school.

In March the Advanced Academics team is hosting the first-ever Research Expo, and in April, the always-popular Coding Expo.

We’ll share details about these events as the dates get closer, but in the meantime check out https://kisd.us/advancedacademics for information about Klein ISD Advanced Academics.

And I want to take a moment to congratulate the Klein Oak Panthers as their football season comes to a close. Panthers, you had a stellar season and we’re proud of you.
