HEB Excellence in Education Finalist, Pathway Summit: 90 Seconds

Klein ISD is a statewide large district finalist for the H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards! This honor is something we can all celebrate, and is a direct result of the outstanding work of EVERY educator, employee, family, and community member. We’re also thrilled to share our Grace England Early Childhood Center is a finalist for the HEB Excellence in Education Early Childhood award. Site visits to Grace England and the district will take place over the next several weeks. We can’t wait for our visitors to see first-hand the many ways Klein ISD is a top-tier school district for our kids and our Klein community!
And looking ahead to this weekend…
The third annual Klein ISD Pathway Summit is just around the corner! It’s a fun, informative and innovative day designed to equip students on their way to exiting with a purpose. The event kicks off this Saturday, January 26th at the Klein Multipurpose center from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Sessions feature opportunities for students and parents to explore accelerated student pathways, graduation endorsements, and what students need to know about transitioning from elementary to intermediate, and intermediate to high school. Counselors from all grade levels will also be on hand to provide valuable course selection guidance.
You’ll also be dazzled with a showcase of interactive experiences in the fun zone! Student challenges in the zone feature robotics, medical exploration, maker spaces, a cardboard challenge, and CSI investigations!
