UPDATE: The team won their Feb. 2 contest and will be advancing to the regional contest to be held later this month at San Jacinto College.

The Klein Intermediate 2019 FIRST® Tech Challenge robotics team #10963 “The KI Falcons” placed first in the Southeast Texas FIRST® Tech Challenge that the Houston Central North League hosted at Klein Intermediate Jan. 26.

The KI Falcons are one of 17 teams in the league that includes 6-12 graders. The team, in addition to participating in league competitions, has taken an active role in educating their community about the program and mentoring a new team in the district at Doerre Intermediate.
