Carrie Farmer, a loyal member of the Klein Family for two decades, steps into a new role as the principal of Bernshausen Elementary, a school she helped open as a literary specialist.
“We are thrilled for Carrie to return home to Bernshausen as principal,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “Her genuine love for the students, educators, and school community combined with her experience and commitment will keep the focus on student success.”
Carrie is a product of Klein ISD, having attended Kaiser Elementary, Wunderlich Intermediate, and Klein Forest High School. Her prior roles in Klein ISD include teacher, specialist, district leader in English Language Arts, and she most recently served as an administrator of her alma mater, Klein Forest.
Carrie’s passion for ensuring the student is at the center of everything educators do and meeting the needs of the whole learner will undoubtedly come with her to Bernshausen.
We know the Bernshausen Bengals have a wonderful future ahead with Carrie!
