Klein ISD is always pursuing innovative ways to teach and grow the minds of students in our care. That’s why we are proud to implement the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Assessment, an online assessment tool, as an approach to accurately measure growth and curate personalized learning paths for EVERY student based on their specific strengths and needs.
With the MAP Assessment, K-8 students are assessed three times a year in Reading, Math, and Science. This helps educators identify areas for growth and allows students to take ownership of their learning at an early age by setting clear goals to achieve and exceed.
The testing windows for the 2019-2020 school year are as follows:
August – October
December – February
April – May
We know that learning is not a one-size-fits-all process, and that’s why the MAP Assessment is such an incredible blueprint for learning.
