Klein ISD welcomes you to observe Veterans Day with us on November 11. Together we will celebrate the immense bravery and sacrifice of all U.S. veterans with a Salute to Veterans and Armed Forces.

Klein ISD has the honor and privilege to recognize our area veterans and active duty personnel each year during our Salute to Veterans and Armed Forces,” Klein ISD Director of Community Relations Cindy Doyle said. “Men and women from the Klein community have served in every war and conflict since this area was settled, so it’s heartwarming to see grandparents and other family members celebrated by their loved ones and community.”

The day will begin with a breakfast hosted at Kleb Intermediate from 8 to 9 a.m. We invite all veterans in the Klein community, along with their families, to share this meal with us. It is graciously donated by the Klein Association for School Nutrition.

At 9:15 a.m., approximately 700 JROTC student cadets represented by all five high schools will proudly take part in a Pass-in-Review ceremony. The public is welcome to attend this event to honor the men and women who have served, are serving, or will serve our country.

“Veterans Day celebrations and recognitions are a time-honored part of the Klein ISD culture and one that means so much to all who participate each and every year,” Doyle said.
