Teacher Leadership Development Summit

On October 26th, the Holdsworth Klein ISD Teacher Leadership Development team will host another summit. The summit is for any teacher or specialist who wants to grow their leadership in their current position or wants to move into a leadership position in the future. The theme this fall is to “Lead from Your Seat,” and we have teacher leaders leading sessions in addition to campus and central office leaders.

The format will stay the same from the ‘18-19 Summits in that participants will attend an opening session and then have two choice breakouts based on interest and areas of growth. Session breakouts this year are below:

  • Campus Development of Student Profiles
  • Knowing Coworkers by Name, Strength, and Need
  • Leader of Self: Diving into Competencies
  • Leadership Promotion: Prepping for the Hiring Process
