Klein ISD Receives State Award for Annual Financial Reports

Klein ISD takes great pride in making the best possible use of funds to provide a high-quality education to EVERY student in our care. We recently received recognition for our financial planning!

Klein ISD has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for our Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year that ended August 31, 2018. This award is given by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), and it is Klein ISD’s 23rd consecutive award for excellence in financial reporting.

Klein ISD has received the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting award from the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO). This is the 16th consecutive year Klein ISD has submitted the district’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) to ASBO, and the 16th consecutive year Klein ISD has received this award.

Klein ISD Executive Director of Financial Services Audrey Ambridge and her staff do an outstanding job each year leading the preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Report (CAFR). 

“We are pleased to accept these awards, the highest recognition for school district’s financial operations offered by the GFOA and ASBO,” Chief Financial Advisor Mr. Dan Schaefer said.
