51st Annual Klein ISD FFA Livestock and Project Show Schedule Released

The public is invited to see the next generation of agriculture professionals in action next week at the 51st Annual Klein ISD FFA Livestock and Project Show February 5 through 8, 2020.
Every year, Klein ISD National FFA Organization members share their countless hours of hard work throughout the year with the Klein ISD community during this four-day event. And each year, it gets bigger and better. This year, spectators will see approximately 1,000 projects produced by agriculture students. These include a variety of livestock including steers, heifers, lambs, goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and swine; as well as non-livestock projects such as horticulture, agriculture mechanics, scientific investigations, and floral design arrangements.
“Our main goal is for the students to have fun and explore the many facets of the Agriculture Science Pathway in Klein ISD and with that our FFA members gain an understanding of where our food comes from, as well as the responsibility of caring for a project,” Klein ISD Career & Technical Education Program Coordinator Dennis Pierce said. “Many students have worked up to a year on their projects in hopes of being successful at the show.”
As if seeing the amazing projects up close and personal isn’t amazing enough, all student exhibitor proceeds go toward college funds and purchase of next year’s projects!
The projects will be exhibited at the Klein ISD Multipurpose Center, 7500 FM 2920, Klein, Texas 77379.
