36 Klein Oak Student-Athletes Participate in 2020 National Signing Day

In Klein ISD, National Signing Day is one filled with cheering, clapping, high-fives, and celebration cupcakes.
Today, 36 Klein Oak student-athletes signed a letter of intent to the college of their choice, many with high-dollar scholarships attached.
“We are so incredibly proud of and impressed by our student-athletes and their performance both in the classroom and in their respective sports,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “Thanks to our committed coaches and teachers, we know that our students have a solid academic foundation and will be successful.”
This day was a culmination of four years’ hard work being recognized, respected, and celebrated. After playing in the All-American Bowl and committing to LSU on live television, Klein Oak Showstopper of the Year was able to sign his letter of intent alongside his peers.
“It’s always been a dream of mine to do this so I’m grateful to Klein Oak for everything and I can’t wait to get my degree and then play in the NFL,” he said.
It’s an emotional day for students, teams, families, and coaches.
“All of these athletes were once a freshman so any of you underclassmen that want to be up here doing this one day, pay attention,” Klein Oak Head Football Coach Jason Glenn said. “Listen to your coaches, teachers, and parents so you can do this too.”
Help us congratulate our outstanding Klein Oak student-athletes!
