Klenk Principal Named District Elementary Principal of the Year

Klenk Principal Allie Martin was named Klein ISD’s 2020 District Elementary Principal of the Year today.

“Allie is relentlessly student-focused, and I’m so proud of how she exemplifies our Profile of a Leader,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “She takes every opportunity to transform her learning experiences into actions that will positively impact her students.”

Martin has spent her entire professional career in Klein ISD. After graduating from Texas Tech University, the Red Raider joined the Klein Family as a kindergarten teacher at Frank Elementary in 2010.

“I love calling Klein home and getting to lead and serve alongside all of the wonderful individuals here,” Martin said after her much-deserved party popper moment. “This is the greatest place in the world to work, and I’m grateful that we get to focus on every student and really rally together around this beautiful Shared Vision.”

Since her Frank Elementary days, Martin also obtained her Master’s Degree from Lamar University, taught at Blackshear, and served as an assistant principal at Metzler Elementary before leading the Klenk Elementary campus.

Martin is intensely curious and is a self-proclaimed “chaser of learning,” and we are so happy that she is a part of our Klein Family!
