FFA Raises $54,000 More At This Year’s Livestock And Project Show
Each year, our dedicated FFA students work tirelessly (up before the sun type of work) to care for and develop their projects in order to do well during the annual Klein ISD FFA Livestock and Project Show and, hopefully, make it to the auction.
The 51st Annual Klein ISD Livestock and Project Show, held February 5 through 8, was one for the books. Our Klein ISD community provided an overwhelming amount of support throughout the show days and at the auction – GIANT celery even sold for $1,000 (see photo gallery below for the amazing photo)!
The auction proceeds totaled $172,849.00. Overall show proceeds, including add-on and freezer sale, totaled $373,219.00. Klein Family, that’s a total increase of almost $54,000 from the previous year. In addition to our loyal buyers that participate each year, we had many first-time buyers this year!
The best part? The auction proceeds fund scholarships and purchases of the next year’s projects for Klein ISD students!
Help us congratulate our Auction Grand and Reserve Champions!
And, our non-auction grand and reserve champions!
We would like to congratulate all of our incredible Klein ISD students for a successful show and auction. Your livestock and visual projects were top-notch. We would also like to thank each buyer who helped our students take this monumental step on their way to their professional careers.
