Klein Cain Announces Top 10 Percent of Inaugural Class of Graduating Seniors

The inaugural class of Klein Cain High School will walk the stage at NRG this May and make Klein ISD history. Last week, the campus celebrated its top 10 percent of graduating seniors with a ceremony and reception.

“The students honored at this ceremony make up a very dedicated group of hard-working, intelligent, and talented Klein Cain Hurricanes,” Principal Nicole Patin said. “We have athletes, artists, musicians, thespians, dancers, class officers, leaders of clubs and organizations, future educators, doctors, lawyers, and first responders.”

The students laughed and cheered together while their baby photos and senior portraits scrolled across the big screen, showing the years of hard work that got them to the seat they were sitting in.

“I’m so proud of our elite students and their commitment to academic excellence,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “They are remarkable representatives of our Klein Family, and I’m excited about how they will continue to find success in each of their unique purposes as they begin the next chapter of their education.”

The campus’ namesake and former Klein ISD Superintendent, Dr. Jim Cain, was thrilled to be present with his wife for the ceremony. Dr. Cain shared quotes near and dear to his heart with the students and congratulated them on their accomplishments.

2020 Klein Cain Honor Graduate Ceremony

“The competition to be in this place of honor today has been rigorous and you should be very proud of yourselves,” he said. “Your focus on academics is to be admired.”

Please help us congratulate our top 10 percent of graduating seniors from Klein Cain High School Class of 2020! Be sure to take a look at the ceremony photos HERE.

“While this is a very diverse group of students whose interests, goals, passions and talents, and future paths vary significantly, they all have one very special attribute in common: they are all history-making scholars and the first-ever group of graduates from Klein Cain High School,” Patin said.

Way to go, Klein Cain Hurricanes! We can’t wait to see what each of you accomplish in the future.
