Houston Public Media TV 8 PBS Switches to All Educational Programing
While our school buildings may be closed, Klein ISD remains open for learning and committed to our students’ success.
In addition to the amazing at-home learning resources available to Klein ISD students, we will be making other resources available to you. Houston Public Media is providing grade-level appropriate educational programming for elementary, middle, and high school students by offering broadcast programming and accompanying digital resources that adhere to a curriculum to provide continued at-home learning.
The expanded programming began on Houston Public Media TV 8 on Monday, March 23:
- 6:00 – 8:00 am – Elementary School: Curriculum programming focused on pre-kindergarten – 3rd-grade students
- 8:00 am – 1:00 pm – Middle School: Curriculum programming focused on 4th grade – 8th-grade students
- 1:00 – 6:00 pm – High School: Curriculum programming focused on 9th grade – 12th-grade students
