We hope that you are all safe and healthy. Based on community feedback and calls to our police department We have the following updates for you:

  • Athletic Facilities, Tracks, & Practice Fields
  • Student and Staff Holiday, April 10
  • Schedule change to FREE curbside meal pickup

Athletic Facilities, Tracks, & Practice Fields

For your safety and the safety of others, please work with Klein ISD and adhere to Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo’s Stay Home, Work Safe order and maintain appropriate physical distancing.

  • Observe at all times the minimum recommended physical distancing of six feet from other people. 
  • Fields and tracks that are usually open remain open for walking and non-team activities with your family. 
  • Please do not congregate or allow your children to congregate on any district athletic facilities, tracks, or practice fields. 
  • All district facilities and fields are closed to team or pick-up games and other large gatherings where physical distancing cannot be observed.

Klein ISD Police will continue to actively patrol campuses and athletic facilities. Should you have any questions about the Stay Home, Work Safe order and the use of Klein ISD athletic facilities, practice fields, and playgrounds, please contact Klein ISD Chief of Police David Kimberly (832-249-4266). Thank you for helping keep everyone safe!

Student and Staff Holiday, Friday, April 10

April 10 is a student and staff holiday. Please continue practicing physical distancing precautions by staying home and staying safe.

Schedule change to FREE curbside meal distribution 

Meals will now be served on Monday and Thursdays from 10:30 am-12:30 pm or until all meals are distributed.  Gathering food supplies is an allowable reason to leave your homes as stated in the Harris County “Stay Home, Work Safe” order. Children 18 and under must be present to receive meals. For more information about meals, please visit
