Klein ISD Honors College Pathway Launching Fall 2020

Klein ISD’s newest pathway, the Honors College Pathway, is now accepting applications for the initial cohort at Klein Cain High School! This accelerated college pathway is open to current Ulrich and Doerre Intermediate eighth-graders as limited seating is available for the initial cohort. 

Who is the Honors College Pathway right for? 

Students who and are specifically interested in pursuing the Multidisciplinary graduation endorsement path! This program is intended for high-achieving students seeking a rigorous academic experience, as students who successfully complete the curriculum can earn an Associate of Arts degree while simultaneously earning a high school diploma! 

Program Advantages

  • Graduate High School under the Distinguished Plan
  • Earn Endorsements in Multidisciplinary Advanced, Arts and Humanities
  • Earn Performance Acknowledgments for dual credit course completion and attainment of industry certifications
  • Earn an Honors College Distinction 
  • Earn Associates of Arts from Lone Star College-University Park (Associate of Arts is an academic degree program preparing students to transfer to a Texas public college or university as a junior with the intention of declaring a major in the liberal or fine arts).

  • Register and attend one virtual information session offered for the Honors College Pathway on either May 5  or May 7
  • Submit questions through the website.
