10 Ways to Celebrate the Klein ISD Class of 2020

The end of the school year is approaching, and we’re excited to celebrate the Class of 2020. Take a look at the 10 ways you can join the fun!

1. Familiarize yourself with the Class of 2020 Website. This website is a one-stop-shop for everything seniors and their families need to know about celebration plans. It will be updated regularly as we move forward. 

2. Update your Facebook profile with a Klein ISD Class of 2020 Facebook Frame. We have created several Facebook frames to show support of the senior Class of 2020. Choose your school or select to celebrate all of Klein ISD graduates! 

3. Honor our Graduates who will soon be serving in our Military. We need YOUR help to recognize, celebrate, and thank these students who will soon be defending our Nation. If you’re a veteran from any branch of the military or are currently serving, please submit a video congratulating these students and wishing them well. Video submissions will be closed on May 25 at 5 pm.

If you are a senior who has enlisted, please visit to fill out your information so we can make sure to recognize you for your commitment to our Nation.

4. Join in on the Virtual Senior Class Cap Toss. The cap toss at the end of graduation is a sight to be seen! Upload a video of you tossing your graduation cap in the air to your school’s Flipgrid. This video will be part of our Turn the Tassel Celebration on May 30! Click the link below to access your school’s Flipgrid. All Cap Toss videos must be submitted by Wednesday, May 27 at 5 pm.

5. Tag us in all your Senior Photos on Social Media by using the official Class of 2020 hashtag for your school. We want to see how you are celebrating the Class of 2020! Did you decorate your front door? Snapped a picture with your cap and gown? Posed with your Class of 2020 yard sign? Share with us! Use the hashtags below when sharing your photos and posts!

6. Join us online for a virtual Class of 2020 Senior Spirit Week May 25-29. Klein ISD Seniors and their families are invited to participate in a virtual districtwide Class of 2020 Spirit Week. Use your school’s hashtag above when sharing your posts! Don’t forget to tag Klein ISD, and you may see your post shared!

  • Monday, May 25: #KleinMilitaryMonday It’s Memorial Day, and in honor of our Veterans and enlisted graduates, share a message of gratitude for our servicemen and women!
  • Tuesday, May 26: #KleinTeacherTuesday We all have a teacher who has shaped the way we live and learn! Give a shout out to your favorite teacher and explain why they have made an impact on your learning.
  • Wednesday, May 27: #KleinWelcomeWednesday As you exit high school, it is time to welcome in a new class of freshmen. Share a welcome message and advice for the new freshmen class at your school. 
  • Thursday, May 28: #KleinThrowBackThursday From Freshman year to Senior year – many memories are made in high school that will last a lifetime! Share your favorite memory from high school!
  • Friday, May 29: #KleinFutureFriday Your future is bright! Showcase your future college, university, military branch, or career path. 

7. Get social with our Instagram Templates! Seniors – leading up to Senior Celebration Day, we want you to reminisce about your high school experience! Use our Instagram Templates to make your Insta Stories shine! Take a screenshot of the template and add in your text and photos. Post them in your Instagram story and tag Klein ISD! 

8. Virtually attend Klein ISD Class of 2020 Senior Celebration Day on May 30, 2020.  This special day will honor and celebrate the Klein ISD Class of 2020! Throughout the day on Klein ISD social media, we will be sharing messages from celebrity Klein ISD alumni and other VIP members in our community. During the Turn the Tassel event,  Dr. McGown will be conferring the Class of 2020, so grab your family,  your cap and gown, and gather around the computer!  To see the schedule for the day, click HERE. This is an event you don’t want to miss! RSVP now for your campus’ Turn the Tassel Celebration.

9. Attend the Class of 2020 Senior Prom. Get your dancing shoes on and get ready for the Senior Prom! As long as there are no COVID-19 related restrictions at the time, proms for all five high schools have been rescheduled to July 2020 and will take place at the Klein Multipurpose Center!

10. Take part in our 2020 Klein ISD Graduation Ceremonies. Celebrate our Senior Class of 2020 as they graduate from the Klein Independent School District. Klein ISD high school seniors will take part in their graduation ceremonies on August 1. All ceremonies will take place at NRG Stadium, NRG Pkwy, Houston, TX 77054. 

We’re so proud of the Class of 2020, and whether online or in-person, we can’t wait to celebrate you and all that you’ve accomplished!
