Nationwide Challenge Takes Coding from the Classroom to Washington, D.C.

The Congressional App Challenge is now open for enrollment to intermediate and high school students. The coders with the best student-coded and created app can earn the chance of being selected for recognition by their Member of Congress, win prizes, and have their work put on display in the Capitol Building in Washington, DC. 

That’s right! You can represent your skills and district in Washington, D.C. for thousands to see! 

Each year, the Congressional Internet Caucus coordinates and the Internet Education Foundation sponsors the nationwide app challenge to recognize and encourage innovative talent in the nation. Last year, more than 10,000 students participated and more than 600 students have already pre-registered for 2020!
