Drive-Thru Diploma Distribution Honors Klein ISD Class of 2020

Graduates from each Klein ISD Class of 2020 were able to collect their diplomas from campus staff during a special, socially distanced diploma distribution held at each campus.

“Seeing the students and their parents during diploma distribution day was one of the best experiences many of us have had since March,” Klein Forest principal Lance Alexander said. “To see their pride, joy, and smiles – that will leave a lasting memory for the Class of 2020.”

The drive-thru distributions were filled with cheering, clapping, cowbells, and laughter.

“The turnout has been amazing,” Klein ISD Board of Trustees member Cathy Arellano said. “As an educator, it means so much to see such an outpouring of support from friends, teachers, administrators, and families.”

This group of graduates has persevered through many things this spring, and this drive-thru diploma distribution is just another way for us to make the final chapter of their Klein ISD career a memorable one.

“It feels amazing to have my diploma in-hand because it shows that all of the hard work really paid off,” Klein Cain graduate Asia Duhe said.
