As a reminder, each campus administrative team, along with the school nurse, is trained regarding the reporting, investigating, contact tracing, and communication to staff and families of a reported positive COVID-19 case on campus. If an individual is a “close contact” for an infected individual, a phone call will be made to that student’s parent/caregiver.
Klein ISD will follow all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines and has established the information that will be shared with staff, students, and families regarding a positive COVID-19 case on campus.
Optional Klein On-Campus simulation for selected students who chose on-campus learning
On Wednesday, September 2, each campus will host a Klein On-Campus and Klein Online simulation in the morning. Details regarding the times and other expectations for Wednesday’s simulation can be found on each campus website and through the campus communication sent directly to families. If you have questions about the simulation, please contact your child’s campus for more information. Please note that this simulation is only a half-day and no transportation or meals will be provided on this day to students.
