Kaiser Elementary Students and Teacher Honored at Board Meeting

Two students and a teacher from Kaiser Elementary were honored at the October Board of Trustees meeting for their hard work and success in the classroom.

Chauncey Walker is a fantastic Kaiser Elementary 4th grade Reading/ELA teacher who embodies high-quality teaching.

“She creates a risk- free classroom environment where her innovative students are not afraid and are willing to fail forward. We are very blessed to have her as one of our Kaiser teachers,” Kaiser Elementary Principal Betty Zavala said.

Genesis is a team player and leader in the classroom and is serious about her learning and takes her new knowledge and puts it into practice.

Juan is a values-driven leader who focuses on “we” and not “me.” He frequently helps his classmates with academics and gives daily affirmations to make sure everyone around him is feeling good.

At Klein ISD, we take pride in our teachers and students, and we ensure that EVERY student enters with a PROMISE and exits with a PURPOSE.

Congratulations again to Ms. Walker, Genesis, and Juan for being a shining example to our Klein Community. You truly encapsulate what it means to go above and beyond.
