Grateful – A Message from Dr. McGown

Grateful – A Message from Dr. McGown

Dear Klein Community,

As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday break, I hope you’ll join me in taking a moment to pause and give thanks. I’m grateful for every member of our outstanding school district and the incredible work that we have done together since we began our Road to Reopening last May. This year has been filled with many challenges that none of us could have ever anticipated, but one thing remains the same—our Klein Family always joins together to take care of one another.

Please join me in thanking our teachers for their tireless efforts to ensure that our 52,000+ students receive an excellent education, as well as our staff members who are working diligently to prioritize our health and safety. Many thanks to our Klein ISD students and families for your patience, the grace you have extended to us, and your support during this school year that has been unlike any we’ve ever experienced.

Although we will be away from school next week, let’s continue to do our part to keep our community healthy by practicing our safety protocols during this season of Thanksgiving to finish the year strong.  We look forward to seeing our students and staff back on Monday, November 30. Until then, I wish you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving!

With gratitude,
Dr. Jenny McGown
Klein ISD Superintendent
