Dear Klein Family,
What. A. Year!
Few could have imagined all that 2020 would bring to our Klein ISD community. With more than its fair share of challenges and hardship, we regularly have been stretched and pushed out of our comfort zone. No doubt, we all have made sacrifices for the greater good. No doubt, we have all had to overcome and to adapt during a tumultuous season. With courage and compassion, with perseverance and grace, we have filled this year with enough stories and memories to last a lifetime.
And although there may be much of 2020 we’d rather never repeat, looking back alongside the challenging moments, there is also abundant pride merged with our absolute best—whatever that looked like on any particular day! —amidst simply caring for one another to overcome, to learn, and to grow through these historic times.
As I shared with our educators and employees at the start of this school year — 
— so we know that 2021 must have something truly beautiful in store for us! And although turning the page on the calendar at midnight will not magically change our current circumstances overnight, I am confident that the incredible resilience and deep-seated resolve we’ve developed as a Klein Family this year will ultimately yield an even stronger community poised for even greater success in the new year ahead.
This hopeful season, may you find peace, joy, and kindness as you reflect upon where we have been and as you celebrate where we are going together in 2021.
