HanesBrands® Donates 200,000 Cloth Masks to Klein ISD

HanesBrands® Donates 200,000 Cloth Masks to Klein ISD

HanesBrands® delivered 11 large pallets of cloth masks to the Klein ISD warehouse on Friday. This generous donation equates to roughly 200,000 cloth masks to be shared with our staff and students on campus.

This arrangement originated when national-level, non-profit organization United Way Worldwide joined forces with Business Roundtable and the CDC Foundation to launch America’s Mask Challenge

“We are so grateful for this very generous donation to Klein ISD,” said Christy Spisak, Community Relations Director. “Keeping our students and educators safe and healthy is our priority, and this donation will allow us to get masks where they are needed most.”

This donation from HanesBrands® will have a positive impact not just for Klein ISD students but for the entire Klein community.

HanesBrands® has followed CDC guidance to ensure that the masks meet appropriate safety standards.

“I am amazed and very grateful for the generosity of the HanesBrands® mask donation,” said Todd Schultz, Klein Warehouse Director. “Our plan will be to use these as needed through the end of the year and then do a large allocation out to the campuses to begin the new school year.”

Thank you, HanesBrands® for your donation. Your dedication to the Klein Community is evident and greatly appreciated!
