Schindewolf Intermediate Students and Teacher Honored at Board Meeting
At the February Board of Trustees meeting, Schindewolf Intermediate honored two outstanding students and one staff member for their dedication and hard work that are evident daily throughout their school.
Ms. Christina Hale is a fantastic teacher at Schindewolf Intermediate. She is a Promise2Purpose Investor and is a relationship-driven leader in everything she does.
“Ms. Hale has characterized a ‘we not me’ attitude and teaches her students how to be committed through all the service projects they do in National Junior Honor Society,” said Dr. Curtis Simmons, Schindewolf principal. “Whether it’s serving first responders breakfast or giving toys to children at Christmas, Ms. Hale continues to serve others and always desires to help students learn to be better citizens.”
Eighth grade ELA teacher Lisa Hightower nominated her outstanding student Elizabeth Brown who she says embodies the vision of a Klein ISD learner informally and within the walls of the classroom. Elizabeth is optimistic and a diligent hard worker.
“Elizabeth has a collaborative spirit, and it is my pleasure to be her teacher. She deserves all the recognition and credit she gets for representing Schindewolf in such an excellent manner each day at our school,” said Hightower.
Student Brandon Hancock is the epitome of a Klein learner and tremendous help for all Schindewolf students. Brandon is involved in many projects and groups at school and puts work into them at home, too.
“Brandon is currently serving as the president of our National Junior Honor Society and Vice President of our Student Council,” said teacher Sandy Thornberry. “He is a great student who always wants the best for himself and his fellow peers. He is such a great student and joy to have in class.”
Congratulations to these wonderful Klein Family members for going above and beyond in the classroom. Your Klein Community is proud of your achievements!
