Hildebrandt Intermediate Students and Teacher Celebrated at Board Meeting
At the March Board of Trustees meeting, the District recognized two outstanding students and one staff member for the hard work and dedication to their roles at Hildebrandt Intermediate.
Principal Lauren Marti has nominated Art teacher Jennifer Bowles because she consistently holds high expectations and cares for the whole learner. Her “we, not me” attitude is present every day as she continually looks for areas of need on campus that she can support with her time and talents.
“She nurtures creativity through art while upholding rigorous academic expectations for all of her students,” said Lauren Marti, Hildebrandt principal. “We are so lucky to have her leadership here at Hildebrandt Intermediate.”
His teachers describe student Johnny Everett as “everything you could want in a student.” He is a Forever Learner who embraces challenges and thinks critically while being creative and innovative in his classes.
“Johnny is an excellent musician and bassoon player I’ve had the pleasure of teaching for three years now at Hildebrandt,” said Brian Towner, Band Director. “Each year, he has progressed immensely and is the ideal band and overall student.”
Student Olivia “Raven” Clark is a goal-oriented problem solver who works independently and effectively in a classroom environment. She’s embraced the challenge of juggling high school Biology while still in Intermediate school.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Raven for two years in a row now,” said Kristal Kaidasz, Biology teacher. “I’ve enjoyed watching her develop and travel down that path of becoming a Forever Learner and excelling in class.”
Congratulations to these wonderful Hildebrandt Mustangs for setting an example for your fellow students and teachers. Your Klein Community is proud of your achievements!
