Krimmel Intermediate Students and Teacher Celebrated at Board Meeting

At the March Board of Trustees meeting, the District recognized two outstanding students and one staff member for their dedication to the hard work they display at Krimmel Intermediate.

Science teacher Mr. Richard Griffin has been nominated this month for his leadership inside and outside the classroom. Mr. Griffin has been teaching for 23 years, with 6 of those years at Klein ISD.

“His easy-going and positive demeanor drives all students, staff, parents, and stakeholders into his educational philosophy: that every student can learn at high levels,” said Prentiss Harper, Krimmel principal.

Student Bethany Nonhof represents Krimmel’s core value of respect. Along with being successful with a tough class load and Pre- Ap classes, Bethany always respects her peers and teachers.

“Bethany has been nominated this month for her unwavering desire to grow,” said Megan Mouton, Algebra/Geometry teacher. “She always faces challenges with great humility and perseverance and is a wonderful student at Krimmel.”

Student Jack Looney displays wonderful critical thinking skills inside of the classroom. He also displays the Krimmel core value of Responsibility as he excels in  his Pre-Ap courses, band, athletics, and more.

“Jack shows tremendous thought and respect to everything that is going around him and is a true example for others to follow,” said Antoinette Sherman, 8th grade ELA teacher.

Congratulations to these wonderful Krimmel Knights for going above and beyond in the classroom. Your Klein Community is proud of your achievements!
