Pre-K & Kindergarten Enrollment Open for 2021-2022 School Year
We are so excited to welcome our youngest learners to Klein ISD! All Elementary schools in Klein ISD are eagerly preparing to welcome all incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students through our annual Pre-K and Kindergarten registration. This is a pre-registration opportunity for students entering Pre-K and Kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year.
If your student attended Pre-Kindergarten in Klein for the 2020-2021 school year, the student will automatically be registered for Kindergarten for 2021-2022.
Come register in person at your zoned campus on April 27, 2021, from 4:30-6 pm to register for Pre-K or Kindergarten!
We are also excited to share our Kinder Ready website, kleinisd.net/KinderReady, which includes kindergarten readiness resources designed for our Klein families with little learners to enjoy and help prepare their children for the transition to kindergarten.
WHICH SCHOOL WILL MY STUDENT ATTEND?
All Kindergarten students will attend the school within their attendance zone.
Pre-K students will attend the school within their attendance zone.
* Pre-K students zoned for Greenwood Forest, Kaiser, Klenk, McDougle, and Nitsch will attend the Grace England Pre-K Center and Pre-K students zoned for Eiland or Epps Island, will attend Eiland Elementary School.

FAMILIES MUST PROVIDE
- The student’s proof of identity (birth certificate preferred)
- A complete immunization health record from a licensed physician at the time of registration
- Proof of residence in Klein ISD, which can include a lease agreement, electric, water, or gas bill with the name and address of the parent/guardian. Telephone bills cannot be accepted.

In accordance with state law, to be eligible for Klein ISD’s full-day Pre-Kindergarten Program a child must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2021, AND meet 1 of the following criteria:
- Limited English Language Proficiency
- Economically Disadvantaged
- Military Dependent
- Is or has been in Foster Care
- Star of Texas Award Recipient Dependent
