Klein ISD Hosts Fine Arts Signing Day Event

Klein ISD Hosts Fine Arts Signing Day Event

Klein ISD hosted its second annual Fine Arts Signing Day Wednesday evening in recognition of 38 students who signed letters of intent to continue their Visual and Performing Arts careers in college.

As the students’ names and colleges were announced, they came forward and signed a letter of intent and posed for a photo opportunity with their directors and families.

Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown spoke to the students and expressed her, as well as Klein ISD’s, love for the arts.

“Our Klein community has always valued the arts, and this room full of talented students and all of their inspirational teachers is a testament to that commitment,” said Dr. McGown. “An investment in the arts is a worthwhile one that makes our world, and certainly our community, more beautiful. We are so proud of all our fine arts students and look forward to watching their future careers in the arts.”
