Klein High Wrestler Wins First Place at State Tournament
Klein High senior Eli Sheeren placed first at the UIL State Tournament bringing back a State title to the school and Klein ISD!
“My goal was to be the best wrestler I could be,” said Eli Sheeren, Klein High senior. “To represent Klein High School is surreal and overwhelming. I love and thank my teammates and coaches for allowing me to be a part of this.”
Eli competed on April 24 at the Berry Center at the UIL State Tournament after becoming the first 4-time district champion in Klein High School history!
“Eli has meant so much to our wrestling team here at Klein High,” said Coach Hallmark, Klein High Athletic Director. “He is a young man who embodies the characteristics of Klein will be greatly missed. We look forward to following his collegiate career at the University of Buffalo.”
