
Lt. Colonel Jason Hancock Named Alumni of the Month for May

Lt. Colonel Jason Hancock has been recognized as the outstanding Klein ISD alumnus for the month of May and was nominated by Board of Trustees President, Mr. Chris Todd.
“It is my honor to nominate and recognize Lt. Colonel Jason Hancock, a man who has proudly sacrificed for our freedom, as the Klein ISD Alumni of the month,” said Chris Todd, Board of Trustees President.
Lt. Col. Hancock is a 1991 graduate of Klein Oak High School, where he participated and thrived in the JROTC program. After high school, he attended the University of Miami and, after graduation, was commissioned as an officer in the US Army, where he was put in harm’s way many times as a distinguished officer. His deployments included Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His bravery and sacrifice are true testaments of his service for our nation’s freedom and safety.

Lt. Col. Hancock has been selected as the outstanding alumnus because he is a true hero and a fantastic example of a Klein ISD graduate! He has been in live combat many times and has sacrificed much to serve our country. Lt. Col. was also a student at Haude Elementary and Strack Intermediate.
