New Fine Arts, Athletic Additions Dedicated in Ceremony
Monday night’s Fine Arts celebration at Klein Oak High School was a wonderful evening full of talent and excitement.
The celebratory event, which included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, was a wonderful evening that signified the official opening of the new building additions, thanks to the support of the 2015 Bond. With powerful performances from Klein Oak Fine Arts students and an equally talented emcee, Klein Oak student Jake Curl, the night was one to remember for all in attendance.
Klein Oak Band, Orchestra, and Choir wowed audiences with their touching rendition of ‘America the Beautiful’ and impressive Dance and Theatre students took to the stage to showcase their many talents.
The night was wonderful and could not have been accomplished without the support and acceptance of our Klein Community and the 2015 Bond.
We are so grateful for the incredible support in our Klein ISD community. The joy on our students’ faces is something that can’t be fabricated, and the sense of accomplishment and purpose they now possess in light of these glorious additions to their school can not be measured.
The 2015 Bond Building Program, which was overwhelmingly approved by over 75% of the Klein ISD community, included a third gymnasium, a new dance wing, and major improvements and upgrades to the Klein Oak auditorium to include state-of-the-art sound and theatrical improvements. The auditorium was expanded and now includes more classroom space and a black box theater. Other improvements include enhanced security equipment, replacement of major AC and heating components, and replacement of major electrical systems.
