Rommel Caballero-Juarez, Klein Oak High Top 10 – Senior Spotlight
Rommel Caballero-Juarez has shown he is one Klein Oak Panther not to pass up. This Senior and Top 10 student is a well-rounded scholar who never fails to impress.
Rommel is active in many activities and organizations inside and outside of school. He is part of Klein Oak Fiesta4Hope, National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and more!
He served as the Klein Oak Fiesta4hope Founder, National Honor Society Vice President, and the Spanish National Honor Society Historian.
Rommel won many awards and recognitions related to his academic achievement and service. He was recognized as a National Hispanic Scholar, Jack Kent Cooke Semifinalist, Hispanic Scholarship Fund Finalist, Rice University Trustee Distinguished Scholar, National Indigenous Scholar, and an AP Scholar with honor.
Rommel gives his free time and volunteers at Memorial Hermann, Shriners Hospital for Children, When We All Vote, and the Houston Foodbank.
“My time at Klein ISD is approaching its end, and I am left with bittersweet memories and that exhilarated feeling that overcomes you once you realize a chapter of your life is over,” said Rommel. “I am left with the conviction that the sacrifices I made in this chapter will have made all the difference in the next few.”
After graduating from Klein Oak, Rommel will be attending Rice University and majoring in Molecular Biology. He plans to attend Medical School and work as a Physician with the United Nations or Doctors without Borders.
We know Rommel will continue with Klein ISD’s tradition of excellence no matter where life takes him. Rommel, we will be rooting for you as you continue on your educational journey!
