Klein ISD Holds First At-Home Graduations in 44 Years
The theme of celebration has been prevalent this week as Klein ISD has officially graduated nearly 4000 seniors from the Class of 2021.
With all five ceremonies taking place at Klein Memorial Stadium, this is the first time in 44 years that graduates have been able to walk the stage and receive their diploma on their home turf.
“We are so grateful for the privilege of honoring and celebrating this wonderful class of incredible young people with families, friends, and community here at home at Klein Memorial Stadium,” said Dr. Jenny McGown, Klein ISD Superintendent. “Congratulations to every graduate for your hard work, determination, and resilience in getting to this important education milestone.”
Dr. McGown also gave a special recognition of seniors who have attended Klein ISD schools for their entire academic career since Kindergarten as well as seniors who have committed to serving our great Nation in the United States Military post-graduation.
