Klein Cain Honors College Pathway Announces 2021-2022 Cohort

Klein Cain Honors College Pathway Announces 2021-2022 Cohort

The Klein Cain Honors College Pathway is pleased to announce its newest cohort of talented students. The college pathway cohort will be starting Fall 2021 and consists of a dedicated group of young, remarkable students.

The Honors College Pathway, which started in 2020, is intended for high-achieving scholars seeking a rigorous academic experience. Honors College students who complete the program curriculum can earn an Associate of Arts degree while simultaneously earning a high school diploma. Klein Cain is the first high school in the Klein, TX area to offer the Honors College Pathway.

“I am so grateful for our strong partnership with Lone Star College, University Park under the leadership of Dr. Shah Ardalan—it’s truly an honor to collaborate and innovate with our partners in higher education to bring unique opportunities to our secondary students so they may earn college credit while earning high school credit,” said Nicole Patin, Klein Cain Principal.

After admission into the Honors College Pathway program, the 2021-2022 cohort will enjoy eventual benefits such as graduating high school under the Distinguished Plan, earning endorsements in Multidisciplinary Advanced, Arts and Humanities, earning an Associate of Arts Degree from Lonestar College-University Park, and more.

Congratulations to the following students who have been accepted into the 2nd Cohort of the Klein Cain Honors College Pathway.
