Krimmel Intermediate Band Receives Prestigious TMEA Invitation
The talented Krimmel Intermediate Honor Band was invited by the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) to perform at the TMEA annual convention. The band is one of three intermediate school bands and one of seven bands from across all school levels selected to perform in the entire state of Texas.
The Krimmel Honor Band accepted the state-wide invitation after a rigorous selection process. The band submitted their recorded performance to a judging committee in a blind audition. The band impressed the judges across the board and was one of the top bands in the state to receive this honor.
“One of the best aspects about being the Director of Fine Arts is celebrating the incredible things that our students and teachers are accomplishing every day,” said Creston Herron, Klein ISD Director of Fine Arts. “Time after time, our students and teachers prove why Klein ISD is a special place, and we could not be prouder of the Krimmel Intermediate Band and their fine directors on this remarkable accomplishment.”
The Krimmel Intermediate Honor Band will perform at TMEA’s annual convention in San Antonio, TX in February. Parents and community members are welcome to attend this celebratory performance.
Congratulations to Krimmel Intermediate Honor Band and Director Stetson Begin for your hard work and dedication to Fine Arts. Your Klein Family community is extremely proud of you!
