Klein ISD Welcomes Over 600 New Klein Family Members
Klein ISD was excited to welcome over 600 new teachers, counselors, paraprofessionals, and support staff to the Klein Family as they begin their new careers in our wonderful district and kick off a new school year!
“It was so moving to see such excited, passionate educators inside our beautiful Klein Cain High School,” said Dr. Jenny McGown, Klein ISD Superintendent. “I know our newest Klein Family members will make such a positive impact on the students in their care.”
Our newest Klein Family members received a warm welcome with a greeting from our outstanding community partners and cheerful students who participate in our extracurricular programs.
“It was the first time in two years that we had New Employee Onboarding in person, and the energy in the room was exciting,” said Monica Shallenberger, officer for professional learning. “There is so much hope and enthusiasm for the new year as they enter into our Klein Family.”
Our new employees learned about our Klein ISD shared vision from superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown, explored important teaching and learning resources, and experienced how the Klein Family supports our students, educators, and community. New hires left the session inspired with deeper knowledge about our guiding documents and ready to serve in their new roles this school year.
