Teacher Feature: Matthew Robinson, Klein Cain High School
Few folks shine brighter than Matthew Robinson. Matthew, a Theater Arts teacher at Klein Cain High School, has a natural ability to connect with others, share knowledge, and put a smile on people’s faces. He’s a class favorite at Klein Cain.
“Mr. Robinson is a super relationship builder with students and staff alike,” said Chase DeBord, Klein Cain Assistant Principal. “He is always willing to go the extra mile for his Hurricane family, and it shows in the quality of theatre productions, the love his students have for theatre, and the joy he brings into Cain every day. Mr. Robinson always has us ‘singin’ in the rain!’”
This is Mr. Robinson’s 16th year in Klein ISD, and he said he still enjoys those “lightbulb moments” where his students make the switch to strive for greatness.
“Every day, I’m excited to see the creativity and discoveries that happen with my students,” said Robinson. “It’s amazing to work in a school that puts students first, and the support of our Cain community has been incredible. Being a teacher has challenged me to be creative, compassionate, and a forever learner. The list goes on and on, but in a nutshell – teaching has made me a better person.”
Mr. Robinson’s heart for his students and determination to be better than yesterday is what makes him such a valuable member of our #kleinfamily. We are so grateful to have this invaluable teacher leader sharing his talent with others.
