Mittelstädt Elementary Students, Teacher Honored at Board Meeting
The Klein ISD Board of Trustees recognized two outstanding Mittelstädt students and one stellar staff member at the October Board meeting for their dedication to success in the classroom.
Beloved Librarian Rachel Bullen is an outstanding educator who enjoys serving every student at Mittelstädt.
“Rachel is relationship-driven and 100 percent results-focused,” said Julie Shumake, Mittelstädt Principal. “She is fiercely devoted to her students and her community and is always willing to provide second-mile service to those in need.”
Fifth-grade student Madelyne is being recognized for embracing the challenge of taking a student under her wing who spoke primarily Spanish. Madelyn made sure the student was able to follow along with the teacher and participate in class.
“Madelyne helped this student without complaint,” said Lindsay Pitman, Fifth Grade Teacher. “She included the student at lunch, in class, and always goes above and beyond for her fellow student.”
Fifth-grade student Aston is a very kind and selfless student. At Mittelstädt, students strive to be a star, and Aston is definitely known as a “Star Student.”
“Aston always comes in each morning with a ‘we, not me’ attitude,” said Nia Sestak, fifth-grade Teacher. “I am so blessed to have him in my class this year, and I’m beyond proud of him.”
Congratulations to these wonderful Patriots for going above and beyond in your academic journey. Your #KleinFamily is proud of your achievements!
