Klein Leadership Coalition Continues to Support District

Klein Leadership Coalition Continues to Support District

Over 200 community leaders, parents, family members, teachers, principals, business owners, realtors, members of the clergy, Board members, and district leadership joined together for the October meeting of the Klein Leadership Coalition (KLC).

The KLC’s mission is to LEARN how Klein ISD is working to fulfill its promise to our students, SHARE key information about district happenings and legislative action with your neighbors so that we’re all well-informed, and COMMUNICATE how having an excellent public school district keeps Klein a great place to live, learn, and work.

Members heard from one of our outstanding Klein ISD teachers Lisa Mackey about her “why” in education and how she supports the Klein Family. We also welcomed Klein community member, parent, and election clerk Lauren Dougherty and Community Impact General Manager Kim Gianetti to share nonpartisan resources to help become an informed voter.

Early voting is happening now until October 29 and Election Day is November 2. Below are the nonpartisan resources shared during the meeting to help you become an informed voter.

We appreciate and value the KLC members for their continued support of our students, schools, and community.
