Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown is receiving recognition across the greater Houston area for her leadership and commitment to the educational profession by being recognized as a Houston Business Journal 2021 Women Who Mean Business recipient.

The award recognizes women across various industry categories for their career achievements, contributions to their organizations, community involvement, and leadership.

“Dr. McGown shares her knowledge and passion with others across the nation, and yet, we are most thankful in Klein ISD that our students are the ultimate beneficiaries of her brilliance and her grace,” Klein ISD’s longest-serving Klein ISD Board member Georgan Reitmeier said. “As a purpose-driven leader, she ensures that every student grows in both character and academics, and I look for more amazing things ahead under her leadership.”

After receiving her award, Dr. McGown shared how grateful she was to receive this recognition from the Houston Business Journal and how honored she was to be included amongst an incredible group of women who are leading the way in their industries.
