Klein ISD Earns Award for Excellence in Fiscal Management
The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) has yet again awarded Klein ISD with a Meritorious Budget Award (MBA) for our excellent fiscal management for the 2021–2022 budget year.
“Congratulations to our wonderful Financial Services team for once again receiving the Meritorious Budget Award,” said Dr. Jenny McGown, Klein ISD Superintendent. “My gratitude goes out to these amazing professionals who work tirelessly to ensure transparency and excellence in our budget process. I am so proud of the high standards for fiscal management led by our Financial Services department.”
Klein ISD has been participating in the MBA program for 17 years, a true reflection of the district’s unwavering commitment to fiscal integrity.
“The financial services team continues the tradition of excellence in budgeting and financial transparency, and we are excited to receive this recognition from the Association of School Business Officials for our high standards of fiscal management,” said Dan Schaefer, Klein ISD Chief Financial Officer.
