Teacher Feature: Jackie Judd

Theiss Elementary’s Ms. Jackie Judd didn’t start teaching in Klein, but she got here as fast as she could!

As a co-teacher, an educator who partners with a classroom teacher to better serve students with special needs, Ms. Judd loves watching her students light up when they’ve mastered new skills.

“Teaching is beautiful,” said Ms. Judd. “It feels like a privilege to come to work and be a part of these kids’ lives, hopefully in a positive way. I don’t know another profession where one can gain so much satisfaction.”

For Ms. Judd, Theiss Elementary is an incredible place to be because of the team of teachers she works with every day and the culture Principal Jessica Taylor has created.

“There are programs, and meetings, and thousands of hours that go into making our school a better place for our kids and ourselves,” said Ms. Judd. “The culture Ms. Taylor has created makes it a joy to come to work each day. She’s also given me opportunities to learn and grow and encourages the progress that I make. This inspires me to continue on an upward trajectory. I can honestly say that it’s an honor to work at Theiss Elementary, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Ms. Judd is an outstanding teacher who passes on self-confidence to her students, and we are so happy to have her in the #KleinFamily!
