Klein Intermediate Principal Named District Secondary Principal of the Year

Klein Intermediate Principal Named District Secondary Principal of the Year

Klein Intermediate Principal Trevor Woolley has been named Klein ISD’s 2022 Secondary Principal of the Year.

“Mr. Woolley is a committed, caring leader who relentlessly pursues excellence for his students and staff,” said Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown. “Throughout his entire career in Klein ISD, he has shown his unwavering belief in the power of a quality education and has done whatever it takes to make an excellent education possible for all students in his care.  We are so proud of Mr. Woolley and grateful that he is a leader in our Klein Family.”

Mr. Woolley became a member of the Klein Family in 2007 and has shared incredible talents at multiple campuses by serving as a teacher, department chair, assistant principal, and principal. What has remained consistent throughout these roles is a commitment to relationship-building and student success.

Our intermediate principal of the year believes in setting high expectations, empowering students to take ownership of their learning, and supporting teachers in taking ownership of their professional growth. He is engaged not only with his school community but with you, his peer community. Many of his peers remarked upon how effectively he uses data, how willingly he shares his strategies, and how dedicated he is to doing what’s best for students.

“Nobody does this on their own,” Mr. Woolley said. “All of this goes back to the campus and the great people who support Klein Intermediate every single day, from the counselors to administrators to central office who always has our back and makes sure we have everything we need. Thank you all very much. This is a very big honor.”

Mr. Woolley is a student-centered, innovative leader with a focus on positive results for everyone on campus. He visualizes and personalizes what success looks like and has been described by his peers as being driven by a sense of possibility and breaking down barriers to achieve success through continuous improvement and problem-solving.

Please join Klein ISD in congratulating Trevor Woolley as our 2022 Secondary Principal of the Year!
