Nitsch Elementary Principal Named District Elementary Principal of the Year
Nitsch Elementary Principal Frank Ward has been named Klein ISD’s 2022 Elementary Principal of the Year.
Mr. Ward shows us what it means to be a student-focused, results-driven leader with high expectations for every student and staff member that supports their success.
“Mr. Ward is a student-focused leader who consistently supports students and staff by giving his absolute best every single day,” said Dr. Jenny McGown, Klein ISD Superintendent. “He expects success, inspires confidence, and relentlessly pursues excellent outcomes for all of his students. Mr. Ward is a blessing to our Klein Family. ”
Mr. Ward is well-known for being a “systems thinker” and has been described by many peers as being driven by a sense of urgency. He is an experienced administrator with a long history of success and has been described as someone who strategically implements best practices for the growth of staff and students and takes time to celebrate all successes.
“I am truly honored, but really it is more of an honor for the students and staff at Nitsch,” Mr. Ward said. “They have worked so long and so hard for everyone to just see them, so thank you for seeing them.”
Before bringing his talents to his current campus, our district elementary principal of the year was a teacher in Houston ISD and started his administrative career as an assistant principal in Klein ISD. He whole-heartedly believes that strong schools build strong leaders, and his results-oriented focus is changing the trajectory of his students’ lives for the better, and we all have witnessed excellent growth of student achievement under his leadership.
Mr. Ward has consistently put in the time, effort, and hard work to lead his school to many well-earned successes (way to go students and teachers, too!) and we are so proud. Please join Klein ISD in congratulating Frank Ward as our 2022 Elementary Principal of the Year.
