Krimmel Intermediate Symphonic Band Performs at State-Level during TMEA Annual Convention
The Krimmel Intermediate Symphonic Band along with Conductors Stetson Begin, Cody Brooks, Charlotte Royall and Max Mullinix recently delivered an outstanding performance during the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) annual convention in San Antonio, Texas.
Last fall, the TMEA extended an invitation to the Krimmel band which was one of three intermediate school bands and one of seven bands from across all school levels selected to perform in the entire state of Texas. Ensembles invited to perform by the TMEA have been selected based on their high-level music education coupled with a deep collaboration between directors and student-musicians.
“I was blown away by the Krimmel Symphonic Band’s exceptional performance at TMEA,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “The pure talent, dedication, and passion that our student-musicians and their directors displayed at the state-level is yet another example of why Klein ISD continues to be known for our tradition of excellence in the Arts. We are proud of them for representing our Klein Family so well!”
